Motorized Systems

Ravan Incorporated is pleased to offer motorized solutions through BTX. Today’s home theaters and luxury residences feature the finest in amenities --- motorized window coverings are a part of this new standard.

Draperies, Roman/Austrian shades, roller shades, and intricate skylight shading systems are just a few of the products that can be motorized. BTX systems can be controlled through switches, remote controls, sun-sensors, timers or lighting and building automation controllers. This means you can control systems individually, in sub-groupings or all at once. Just think how nice it would be to have the ability to effortlessly open your drapes with the touch of a button. Put an end to the pulling of heavy strings and eliminate the need to access those hard to reach places. BTX automatic drapery systems are built precisely to customer specifications. They are discreetly mounted out of sight, extremely reliable, and super quiet.

BTX sensors and controls added to your drapes provide automatic opening and closing as desired, even during your absence. When you are away, they add extra security by creating the “at-home” look, they help to protect your valuables against damaging sunlight, they ensure timely daylight for plants and pets, as well as help control your energy bills. With BTX systems, it is now possible to centrally open or close the drapes in one or more rooms or event the entire house from one or more locations.

Elegant interior designs often call for upper-end fabrics for the window coverings to perfectly match decorative requirements. Roman shades, balloon shades and natural woven woods are preferred solutions. Wood Venetian blinds, as well as, 2-inch composite materials have also come back en vogue. These decorative materials have one thing in common, namely that they are heavy. Rotation on smaller and lighter shades may sometimes be handled by small battery operated systems. The weight of the shades, however, quickly exceeds these motor capabilities especially when shades must be raised and/or rotated. In most demanding interior design situations where windows are larger and fabrics are heavier, customized motorization systems are required. In order to take full advantage of the decorative beauty of the shade materials as well as the functional aspect of light regulation, these treatments as a rule must be motorized. Manual lifting by means of cords will often need so much force that it becomes problematic and it may subject the system to excessive wear. BTX offers programs of automated lift and lift/ tilt systems that will smoothly and conveniently operate most of these systems.

Roman Shades: Made of any quality fabric, from sheers to heavy cotton you can select from our collection or use your own fabrics. Roman shades filter the light when you use sheer material so your room is filled with soft, diffused light, accented with a hint of color from your fabric selected. Designed with a neatly pre-folded look or a flat panel look with a folded stack when opened. Roman shades provide a clean, classic linen look, also a good insulation for energy saving.
